As the owner and clinical lead, Marylou brings over three decades of nursing experience to South Coast Grab Bar. Following a distinguished career in healthcare, she now manages all clinical assessments, business operations, and client coordination. Her transition to directing the family business ensures that every project is rooted in a deep understanding of patient safety, fall prevention, and compassionate care.
James brings a rare "dual-brain" approach to every project on a limited, part-time basis. Before entering healthcare, he spent 12 years in the building and remodeling trades, giving him an expert understanding of what is behind your tile, fiberglass, and drywall.
In 1996, James transitioned into healthcare as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). For nearly 30 years, he has specialized in rehabilitation and home safety assessments. Working a modified schedule focused on clinical oversight and technical precision, James provides specialized installation support on an appointment-only basis. This ensures every grab bar is placed with medical intent and anchored with the structural integrity required for long-term safety.
