James is a true professional. His medical background and construction knowledge allowed him to assess needs and offer solutions that made our bathroom usable and safe. He listened to our concerns and made suggestions for grab bars in a tub/shower. He does not oversell - in fact, he recommended using a moveable grab bar we already had instead of installing a new one.
James is also kind, considerate and prompt. He answered all of our questions before starting, worked quickly and efficiently, and made sure to clean up all the construction debris before leaving!!
It was truly a pleasure to work with James and it is reassuring to know that we can confidently use our shower now that it has the proper safety equipment.
James did a fantastic job putting up 2 18" grab bars in the shower for us. It was such a perfect job, the bars actually look like they came as part of the fiberglass shower unit. And he already had the bars with him so that was a plus for us not having to go out to the store or online and try to figure out what we needed.
We had asked for one bar to be placed on the wall outside of the shower thinking it would help someone step in, but James put his OT background to use and explained how having both in the shower was the way to go in terms of safety. And we can see already he was 100% correct. He also used his OT experience to show us how to hold onto the bars while stepping in and out and that knowledge gives us a tremendous peace of mind. The shower feels like it has been totally transformed (for the better!) and is now 100% safe.
We also wanted to mention that James is very polite and super friendly, the type of person you feel like you have known for a long time, even though we were just meeting him for the first time. He was right on time and cleaned up everything when the job was done. We cannot thank James enough, and we recommend him to everyone. Thank you James!
